I had wonderful chat with Caitlin this afternoon. She is so happy and speaking a lot of Spanish. In fact, the people in Cuba encourage her to speak the home language.
This post will be a series of photos Caitlin has sent me. She promises to write more and to add more photo captions but the slow dial-up prohibits her doing so on a regular basis...that's why mommy is posting from the USA!!!

I randomly found this blog by hitting the "next blog" button. I went to Cuba last summer so naturally this one caught my attention.
Anyways, what is the goal of the Cuba travel? Education? Just an itch to travel?

I just wanted to comment that until Mom posts my latest blog, the ¨Bodega¨picture that is labeled Wine Shoppe is ACTUALLY a ration location, where Cuban´s get their monthly nearly free food. There´s little, but enough so people don´t starve!!

I would also like to let you know that carousel is coming along great. Today was our performance for school. you can imagine how that went. Anyways i also wanted to let you know that i actually made a connection with zach moorhead! We actually had a conversation and he even grabbed me a cookie. (we bonded over the movie Hairspray) okay well mom is whining and telling me to come downstairs to have dinner. i have rehersal in about a half hour. i cant believe the show is in 3 days! well ill check back in soon. have fun!

You would be sad about all the stray dogs in Havana. I always want to pet them but they look pretty sick and dirty...
